International Justice Mission

logo-2The International Justice Mission is a global organization that protects the poor from violence in the developing world. Our global team includes hundreds of lawyers, investigators, social workers, community activists and other professionals at work in nearly 20 communities. So far, we’ve rescued more than 23,000 people from violence and oppression. And, today, our work is helping to protect 21 million people globally from violence.

IJM combats sex trafficking in Latin America, South Asia and Southeast Asia.

What They Do…

Rescue Victims: We identify children and forced adults in the sex industry, support professional law enforcement rescue operations and ensure that all people, including non-trafficked individuals who may be present, are treated with dignity during the operation.

Bring Criminals to Justice: We help build strong cases against traffickers, pimps and other perpetrators and support their prosecution.

Restore Survivors: We create individual treatment plans for each survivor, partner with excellent aftercare homes, provide trauma counseling and support access to school and vocational opportunities.

Strengthen Justice Systems: We provide training and hands-on mentoring to law enforcement, judges, medical and other professionals, and advocate for improvements to the justice system that will ensure cases are heard and survivors are protected.
