Restore NYC‘s mission is to end sex trafficking in New York and restore the well-being and independence of foreign national survivors. Their vision is simple yet powerful: “For every survivor, the promise of a new life. For our nation, the end of modern-day slavery”. To do this they find victims through our outreach strategies and partnerships with law enforcement, the court system, and community-based organizations and restore survivors through our groundbreaking safehome program.

What they do…

Outreach Program: We refuse to leave a victim behind. Therefore, we actively seek out trafficking victims through our outreach program by partnering with the court systerm, collaborating with federal and local law enforcement, working closely with other nonprofits and community-based organizations.

SafeHome Program: Specializes in an aftercare model that is strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally-sensitive, focusing on the diverse needs of each survivor. The safehome is designed to empower women to thrive in a healthy community and to engage in physical, emotional, and spiritual healing practices. Each resident in our one-year program develops a restoration plan that addresses immediate, ongoing, and long-term needs. This plan also includes life skills, training, legal & immigration advocacy, ESL training, job placement and service in the community and partner organizations.

Donate: Your gift can provide one month of food ($115), one month of court advocacy ($25)), eight cousling sessions ($500), shelter for eight women for 10 days ($1,500) or one woman for year ($6,500). Your gift would matter in a survivor’s life.

Fundraise: Join our mission by starting your own awareness and fundraising campaigns! Use momentous life occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries or participation in a marathon as opportunities for personal campaigns that focus your network’s attention on a cause you care about. You can also plan fundraising events, like a carwash or a speed dating night!B
